The You Ji CY-550H+APC vertical turning center is a compact, high precision, heavy duty machine with an integrated pallet changer engineered for uninterrupted production, either in stand alone or production line applications. Designed for turning of medium sized workpieces, the machine’s standard turning diameter is 21.65″ (550 mm), maximum 27.5″ (698 mm), and maximum cutting height 19.1″ (485 mm).
The machine’s rigid vertical column and base are Meehanite castings, heavily ribbed for to minimize thermal distortion and dampen vibration. The X- and Z-axis linear guideway system enables rapid traverse rates of 787 in/min (20 m/min). Box ways are available as a no charge option. Class 3 ballscrews are driven directly by the servo motors, eliminating belts or gears.
